Dahlia Day

Join Lucy and Kara for a Dahlia Day in the beautiful location of Chipping Campden, Cotswolds. Surrounded by flower fields brimming with dahlias and all that is to offer from late summer, we will offer our individual insights into how we work and guide you through the steps of how to create beautiful arrangements using both fresh and dried dahlias.

What you can expect

In the morning we will begin our day with a brief introduction from Lucy and Kara on growing dahlias, tips & tricks, and the importance of colour theory and design whilst creating floral arrangements. You will then have the opportunity to create your own fresh dahlia arrangement in a vintage ceramic vessel.

In the afternoon we move onto sustainable dried floral design. Here we will speak about how to dry dahlias, the difference on arranging dried and fresh flowers, a conversation on the sustainability of dried flowers and finishing with plenty of time for you to create your own dried floral arrangement.

Food and Drinks

A seasonal homegrown lunch will be provided with ingredients picked from the kitchen garden. We will end our day with late afternoon drinks on the terrace overlooking the dahlia fields.

A professional photographer will be present throughout the day to capture all our beautiful creations which we will share with you.
